Julia Brooker is based in Cardiff, Wales
Julia Brooker is a fine artist & makes large scale paintings on silk finish aluminium.
In her latest series 'Forest' she re-discovers the exhilaration and physicality of drawing life size, and this becomes an underlayer to large monochrome paintings. Earlier work has been concerned with translucence and layering of colour.
She regularly collaborates with architects and designers on international projects.
