Simon Fenoulhet is based in Cardiff, Wales
I make light based installations using mass produced, everyday objects. Most often, the only light the viewer sees is that which comes out of the work itself. The aim is to effect a material transformation, changing the way we read ordinary objects and revealing unexpected aesthetic qualities. These works are mainly for galleries but I also work on temporary outdoor projects too.
