Emma Butler-Cole Aiken is based in Edinburgh, Scotland

I am a stained glass artist and my language is colour. I make large and small commissions for public and private buildings as well as exhibition panels and objects. Starting with quality handmade glass, I enjoy traditional methods: etching, staining, painting and leading. Pushing the materials further I often sandblast and fuse giving greater scope of expression.

  • 2007 Three Rowan Windows, private house, Dirleton, East Lothian
