Cliff Hanley is based in Bristol, South West
My painting is as much about the medium as the message, and I happily admit to having ingested influence from the Impressionists especially Monet, and the Abstract Impressionists Pollock and de Kooning, on top of my Scottish heritage: The Colourists, Glasgow Boys and Joan Eardley, in my formative years. The result, on my canvases, is often seen as pop art.
