Tom Hackett is based in Nottingham, East Midlands
I am a sculptor making installation works. These consider issues including; the problems and limits of beaurocracy, trying to make sense of the world, the author function in art, human interaction, and the problematic interface of written language with the visual. I often use translucent materials, modelling, casting and readymades. I also make 2-dimensional text based works.
