Zelia Kept Her Brown Eyes Cast Downward, Her Mien Tragic And Forlorn, 2012

details about this work

Phillip Reeves is based in London

Working with two main elements - figure and process, a setting is created using a variety of non-traditional materials such as cement and soaps. Then, overlayed are figures, creating an atmospheric environment within the setting. Themes such as the human psyche are explored, manifested by the artists idea of the relationship between the sitter and the space they inhabit.
