Helen Gorrill is based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, North East
I am an artist working with mixed-media, including painting and installation. Much of my previous work culminated in a major solo show (DEICIDE London), a retrospective that investigated feminism and theology. My Benedict XVI Confession Chamber has been archived in Brooklyn Museum’s feminist artbase, and I am currently exploring feminist issues through the medium of Collage and reconstruction.
