Nigel Massey is based in London
Trained in painting at the RA Schools, Nigel Massey combines influences from working with trades such as weaving, frame restoration, shop fitting and furniture making, with more casual and opportunistic means of gathering material.
Through this he proposes and develops ideas through the acts of making, with sometimes impudent acts of assembly and manufacture featuring in these stoic, solitary objects.
