details about this work

Doug Burton is based in London

My work is engrossed with the manipulation of matter. I utilise digital scanning techniques to capture the surface of the world around us to create Drawings, Sculptures and Animations of an altered physical materiality. My practice explores notions of the spectacle as a substance, forming a technological version of a world beyond.
