Hanae Utamura is based in London
Affinity is the basic force of human civilization, like how gravity works in nature. I explore how these forces appear through my interventions, revealing their conditions of beauty, absurdity, and violence. My practice proposes, how seeing physical, non-verbal experiences transform our beliefs about the world, leading to change as an echo of it.
