details about this work

Joseph Young is based in Brighton, South East

A number of key themes emerge within my practice:

1) Autobiography and the use of sound as a sense memory
2) Sound as activism in the form of performative political works
3) The transformation of urban noise with reference to the works of Luigi Russolo

The end result might be an installation, film, performance or public intervention.
