Marius von Brasch is based in Ventnor, Isle of Wight, South East
Works exploring the relationship between painting, drawing and digital media, transformation and time, 'aura' and the digital, folding/unfolding and language.
I’m currently working on a series of videos. Departing from Walter Benjamin’s thought of language unfolding as world, I decided to foreground the aspect of timeline inherent to this idea – handwriting/drawing, legible/illegible - into my praxis.
