Jane Walker is based in Sheffield, Yorkshire
My practice is in the field of painting and drawing. I experiment with my materials to find new possibilities but have a respect for traditional painting and drawing. The recent watercolours are a continuation of my chemical experiments, started in 2000. With the increasing importance of line they are beginning to resemble sheets of music.
