Maia Conran is based in Bangor, North Wales & Bristol, South West
In film, video, animation and installation I investigate the layering of content and meaning that occurs across the production, presentation and documentation of moving image. I draw on new and traditional production methods to reflect on the potential and limitations of the medium. Recent works expand beyond the screen; making use of multiple screens, sculpture, live projection, and installation.
