Stephen Felmingham is based in London
I make drawings and objects that begin in the Cold War bunkers of the Royal Observer Corps, in research that encompasses the sublime in tension with the everyday; the uncanny; the phenomenology of perception; place and psychoanalysis. I draw in situ, from objects retrieved from the sites and photographs. Other work, both objects and drawings, develops from this primary resource.
