Isabella Streffen is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, North East
Isabella Streffen's work suggests romantic conceptual alternatives of the known universe. Working in photomedia, intervention, performance, text and sculpture, she flirts with perception and its disorders, the reinvention of technologies and the narratives of desire. She is currently writing up her doctoral research into military visioning technologies and their use in fine art practice.
