Viyki Turnbull is based in London
Chairs, tyres, container boxes and clothing have all been starting points for my mixed media practice. I work with these objects in isolation, detaching them from their usual context, in order to consider alternative ways that they can be seen and understood. I use techniques in drawing, printmaking, collage, assemblage and textiles to do this.
