Chris Pickup is based in Nottingham, East Midlands
The focus of my work is the passage of time and how we perceive our world and our place in it relative to the passage of time. This idea manifests itself diverse ways; from highly observed, mixed media, wall mounted bas relief works through to installation work based on social histories. Every fleeting second of observation leaves most complexities unseen.
