details about this work

Katy Beinart is based in London

My practice combines art and architecture to examine themes of history, identity and place. My approach is research based, and involves both archival research and participatory processes.
I make work in the public realm, using installation and performance, which seek to reveal hidden narratives. I am currently doing a practice-based PhD at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.
