Nick Turvey is based in London
It seems to me that we understand and locate ourselves in the world primarily through a mapping or projection of our bodies. For me, sculpture is a means to physically engage the viewer with the mystery of how consciousness emerges from structure and pattern, and how embodiment in flesh then shapes our identity.
