Gill Russell is based in Glenkindie, Scotland
She is an light and sound installation artist. Her recent project, Where Long Shadows Fall, celebrated UNESCO’s Year of the Forest 2011, (Cairngorms National Park, 2011/2012). She was Artist in Residence at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig in Skye 2009/10 and created ‘Uamh/Cave’ ( RSA Edinburgh, Jan 2011.). She has worked collaboratively with writers, musicians, poets and astronomers.
