Artist statement
Concepts/themes/ideas
Landscape, abstract and movement are the three main themes in Catherine's photographs and mixed media works. She does not employ any digital manipulation in her photographic work, which is shot from views she encounters or from small installations created in the studio from everyday materials.
Career path
Participation in residencies, photographic festivals and exhibitions form the central part of Catherine Jacobs's artistic practice. Her work is held in many private collections.
