Artist statement
Enzo Marra is of Italian parentage and holds a BA in fine art from Reading University and an MA from Brighton University. His painterly work is characterised by elements of history, mythology, surrealism and metamorphosis. He has been selected to exhibit in the Threadneedle Prize and GFEST in 2010, Charlie Smith Anthology in 2011, The Open West, The Threadneedle Prize and The John Moores Painting Prize in 2012 and has had numerous exhibitions in the UK and in Italy. He was also part of Travelling Light at the 53rd Venice Biennale and Afternoon Tea at the 54th Venice Biennale. He is represented by WW Gallery.
