Artist statement
I make installations, drawings and sculpture using a wide variety of materials. There are two approaches running throughout my entire practice to date: a sense of political and social realism entwined with a surreal ‘Narnia-esque’ escapism. Such seemingly opposing ideologies have resulted in works that have a poetic dreamlike but gritty quality shaped by contrast.
