Artist statement
My work has always been about my concern with 'being in the world'; 'being' as a human, 'being' as a transient occupant in time, space and condition.
Work begins with the intention to explore and to incorporate possibilities. The outcome is open-ended to allow room for interpretations. Sometimes failures play a crucial part in the work.
It is more a journey of finding out, not of arriving.
