Artist statement
My practice is an investigation of the world I live in. I seek to pursue ways of describing the present moment; the sensation of transient events and form and its relationship to space.
The physical act of creating is very much intrinsic in the work. I seek to explore how the act of making, the subject and the actual work converge.
The intensity and discipline of observational drawing are fundamental to my work and provide the foundation and tools that I need to explore these ideas.
