Artist statement
ConceptsI consider myself to be a symbolist artist. I show the symbolic images in my artwork, mostly oil painting on canvas, as a complement to the imagery evoked in my poems.
Influences
I am a symbolist artist, the ideas for my paintings derive from my own poetry. Content of artwork is allegorical, full of metaphor, connotation and ambiguity. Symbolic images in my paintings are complementary to the imagery evoked in my poems.
