Artist statement
ConceptsMy work is currently based on the exploration of natural and urban landscape. It is about experiencing landscape, having encounters with new landscapes and creating an intuitive, evocative rhythm. Colour is an important element.
I juxtapose collaged layers of glass, bringing together a balance of texture, line and colour to the finished pieces. I develop new work through drawing, painting and print-making.
My commissioned work develops through the collaborative process with the client and leads my work in new and unexpected directions.
