The Contemporary Group of the Royal Photographic Society are organising a weekend event with six major name photographers talking about their personal photographic projects and the role of contemporary art photography today and in the past.
Speakers will include:Stephen Gill, whose recent publications Hackney Flowers and Archaeology in Reverse feature the area of East London around Hackney and the Stratford site for the 2012 Olympic Games. His work is in several gallery collections and has been exhibited widely in the UK and Europe

This unique event should be of major interest to photographers with a wide range of interests, and will be open to all, whether or not they are RPS members. You are invited to express your interest in attending and to reserve a place as numbers will be limited to around 50.
