With the use of painting, installation and emboriderry, I aim to address concepts of space, cinsisting of obvious symbols, outlining deliberate tension between the viewer, the process and the image. While exploring specific systems, contexts, or environemnts, my work almsot always questions the proposed values of everyday, as socially instrumental to our shared realm.
My most recent projects are based on various forms of research and actions: analysing public space, navigating digital mapping tools, conducting questionnaires. I use these techniques to identify how craft, materiality, labour and the formal priorities of images can serve as a tool for the production of common space.
