Suzanne Stuart DaviesArtist, Maker
I am a painter. Observation combines with memory and imagination. Studio work consists of sorting notes, making drawings and studies, keeping ideas/sketchbooks for individual series. Colour and form and surface qualities become important preoccupations at this point. There is always a sequence - one painting in a series leading into another. I trained at Liverpool College of Art. I also have a degree in art history and philosophy.
