Woollenline, work with peat, wool, people and elemental forces combines an artists' aesthetic sensibility with landscape conservation, potential economic development & community engagement.

Mark Fisher from Black Mountain gliding club took this image in July 2014, 4 years after the first 300metre long line of handmade felt was laid. Since then a further 10 lines have been added with the help of hundreds of volunteers. On the ground a light green haze is beginning to appear, testimony to the combined power of both elements and human endeavour.
