Patrick Shanahan

Artist, Lecturer / academic

My photographs investigate the contemporary cultural landscape, offering a seductive and unsettling re-imaging of modern urban and rural environments. The treatment of light, colour, tone and space help to establish a tension between a real and constructed landscape - a landscape in which the distinction between reality and imagination seems to blur and we are left with a peculiar sense of spatial estrangement. Artist-printed archival pigment prints are available in the following sizes: Image size 33cm x 50cm on 43cm x 60cm Fibre Based Baryta Paper, edition 10 +2 AP, from £250-00 each plus delivery Image size 50cm x 75cm on 61cm x 86cm Fibre Based Baryta Paper, edition 5 +2 AP, from £600-00 each plus delivery Each print is signed, titled and numbered You can also download my complete CV as a pdf by going to my website homepage and clicking on Curriculum Vitae. read full statement
