    Biography

Pam Newall is an artist, an architect turned printmaker based in Shrewsbury, UK.  She graduated with an MA in Fine Art Printmaking from Cambridge School of Art and has exhibited in the UK and Europe.  Images hold a record of some earlier activity, have a sense of absence and catch things at the margins. They are built up from drawings or photographic images, sometimes worked into and use etching, photoetch and photoscreen/silkscreen. Printmaking is a way of managing and recording the chaos of constantly noticing things. Group shows include BITE Artists Making Prints, Mall Galleries, London, 'The Printmaking Event 4' 2012 Leipzig International, Bund Bildender Kunstler Leipzig, Leipzig Germany, Allotment Plot 9 Showcase Shropshire Artists and Makers, MAC Birmingham, Birmingham UK, Ritual & Obsessive Thought Exhibition, Jonathon Ross's Gallery 286, 286 Earl's Court Road, SW5 9AS London, Print International 2013 Oriel Wrecsam (touring), Rhosddu Road, Wrexham. Pam also talks about things to do with work and life here and tweets here
