A tangled mess of fibre-optic cabling, wiring, telephones and chasing rope lights are incorporated into the workings within the suspended ceiling of Arts Council England's offices in Nottingham.
This sculpture represents the organised chaos of office work, with the communications and networking of the office as a lifeform in itself, alive within the fabric of the building and the notion of the staff supplying its energy.
There is a mobile phone within the work that rings in the ceiling when the number is dialled.
