Biography

My current work interests circulate around notions of image-making, the value of an image, and the framing of that image through its creation by an artist. Central to my work is an emphasis on the durational work and/or vision of the artist imbuing value on an image/object; that through a visual understanding of the effort both manual and inspirational of the journey of the artist in making, a viewer can better empathise with and value an individual aspect view. Inherent within this is an exploration of traditional methods of art-making and aestheticisation.
