Location: Narberth Museum

'Gruel' is cast in glass from the wooden ladle which was used to feed the poor and destitute inhabitants of Narberth Workhouse and will be on show in the museum as part of the CASW Gift Award exhibition until 31 August, after which it will be on permanent display as part of the museum collection. http://www.linda-norris.com/narberth-museum/

The work was made as part of a commission awarded to four Welsh makers to make work in response to Narberth Museum collection. These commissions were funded by The Contemporary Art Society for Wales Gift Award. The other makers are: Riitta Sinkkonen Davies, weaver: Jobina Tinnemans, sound artist and Sian Lester, textile designer.
