Biography

Norman M. Klein describes how evidence 'is a remnant left over by chance': we understand a location or an event on those sources we have access to, but as Klein suggests, there should be an open-endedness, an acknowledgement of that which we do not know. I use photography, video, installation and audio exploring how documents in various forms - a written text, a photograph, an object or indexical trace - are limited in their ability to record a site or event by their medium, by the decisions of their author and by an audience's reading.
