My art practice encompasses painting, drawing, photography and film. Ideas of time, memory, mortality, the trace, hidden narratives, absence and presence and stillness underly the work. I frequently use photographic media as source material and recently I have been using stilled images from my own 16mm films as a starting point for paintings.
