While working as a community psychiatrist I completed a part-time Art Foundation course at Staffordshire University, then a part-time BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University in 2000 (first class). I became a full-time artist in 2010, after an MA in Contemporary Fine Art Practice, and have subsequently exhibited and performed widely.
