'The breath of man, of animals and plants coincides with the breath of the cosmos [...] It is quite natural that all human creation - including art - participates in the same cosmic pulsation.' Wassily Kandinsky, 1933.
My work grows from an interest in natural forces,
and their effects in the world around us.
Increasingly, I've come to recognise a connectedness between things,
and between things and me.
As they move and become, I do the same.
I think that the more we recognise this connection,
the more chance that we'll respect what's around us,
It's hoped the work will contribute to this.
