Cherry Tenneson's work takes inspiration from the banal, everyday narratives and dialogues which exist within the language used in institutional communications.
Her recent Limited Editions series is a collection of gouaches based upon internet corporate communications of cultural institutions. This series narrates the ironic, everyday devaluation of art and academia within the design and lifespan of cultural commodities available online - from the misappropriation of original artworks in souvenir designs through to the inconsequential acts of everyday life.
