Biography

Aeneas Wilder's practice encompasses sculpture, installation, performance, video, photography and public art. Broadly viewed his work is concerned with the transient nature of existence, ideas and perceptions. This can be considered as the basis from which wider and more specific concerns are addressed. All areas of his practice are characterized by simplicity, precision and economy, while at the same time the works explore conceptually complex themes and ideas. The form and content of individual works or projects can vary.
