Jin Eui Kim makes intriguing forms whose ambiguity have something of the quality of sculptures by Anish Kapoor. There are no clear edges and the forms seem to have been spun into shape and then gently hollowed. The crisp black and white banded surfaces have a strong echo of modernist minimalism yet the rounded forms also carry an echo of the natural world. They might be cocoons out of which a beautiful moth will emerge.
