Outreach Coordinator - Axis
Kathryn Welford works part-time as Outreach Coordinator for Axis. Kathryn has worked in gallery and creative education for almost twenty years both as an artist and project manager. She was Visual Arts Education Officer at Cornerhouse, Manchester International Art Centre and is Yorkshire representative for engage (National Association for Gallery Education). She currently works freelance for Creative Partnerships, brokering partnership projects between schools and the cultural sector. She also works as freelance Education Officer at Project Space Leeds, an independent, artist-led contemporary art space, and delivers participation projects as an artist for various galleries across Yorkshire.
