Camberwell/V&A Fellow in Craft Practice, History & Theory

Based in the Research Department at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Amanda Fielding is engaged in curation and publication projects. She is curating a solo exhibition of new work by Richard Slee in the V&A's Ceramics Galleries in 2010, and researching towards a monograph on ceramist Gillian Lowndes. She is joint coordinator of a collaborative research project on hybrid practices between Bergen National Academy of the Arts and Camberwell College of Arts.

A regular contributor to Ceramic Review, she has co-written books on Walter Keeler and Michael Casson (forthcoming) with Emmanuel Cooper. She is a member of the Craft Lives Committee, National Life Stories at the British Library, the Craft Acquisition Panel, Shipley Art Gallery, Gateshead and the Acquisitions Committee, Crafts Study Centre, Farnham. She is also external examiner for the City Lit Ceramics Diploma, London Metropolitan University.
