Stella Baraklianou is a photographic artist and visiting lecturer in photography. She currently lectures on the MA in Photography and Urban Cultures at Goldsmiths and at the University of Chester’s Department of Fine Art. She received a PhD in Visual Arts from Goldsmiths in 2007 for the theory and practice based doctoral thesis Photographing the Landscape of Memory. Her own practice engages with notions of memory and identity via recordings of landscape. She has exhibited her work at various galleries in London.
