Artist

Fiona Robinson is an artist based in Dorset. She exhibits internationally and won the University of Bath Painting Prize, 2007. She was awarded third prize at the 4th International Drawing Biennale, Melbourne 2007, Australia and was selected for the Vth International Biennial of Drawing, Pilsen 2006, Czech Republic. Author of Fifty Wessex Artists (Evolver Press, 2006), she is Writer in Residence at Evolver Magazine.

'Twenty Two Drawings made between 20 August 2005 and 31 August 2005', with accompanying text, were published in the Ambiguity Issue of TRACEY The Journal for Contemporary Drawing Research. (Loughborough University September 2006).

She won the Proof Review writing Prize 2007 and will be writing a regular feature for Proof. 'Art in Dorset' highlighting the lack of exhibition spaces in the West Country has just gone live.
