Join the Axis Board and act as an ambassador for a national visual arts organisation

Axis is looking for an artist or arts professional to join the Board of Directors.

Candidates must be:

  • knowledgeable about contemporary art and artists
  • a good communicator
  • able to think strategically and understand good governance
  • interested in new technologies and Web 2.0
  • willing to attend five meetings a year

How to apply

Application is by CV and covering letter, which should indicate why you are interested in joining the Axis Board and what qualities you would bring to the organisation. A signed declaration of eligibility should also be returned with your application.

The closing date for applications is Monday 21 January 2008.

Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held on Tuesday 5 February 2008. All travel expenses within the UK will be paid.
