We were given an A5 Moleskine® which we passed onto Axis members from Scotland, England and Wales, asking them to respond to our theme 'Americana'. Artists were encouraged to interpret the theme and create work in any way they wanted. Consequently the finished 'Axis Travelling Moleskine®' contains cut outs, drawings, prints, collage and paintings.
The outcome of the Travelling Moleskine® project is a snapshot of British artists' view of America, its icons and people.
